Dorthy Irvin, President Grand Rapids’ Bowling Senate/Affiliate of the National Bowling Association

November 23rd, 2005

Hometown Hero Dorothy Irvin “lets the good times roll” in Grand Rapids. She was instrumental in bringing the National Bowling Association, Inc., Conference to Grand Rapids in 1992, 1998 and 2005. “When people keep coming back that makes a statement about how they feel about a city. We were up against Akron, Ohio; Louisville, Kentucky; and Ft. Wayne, Indiana, but the voters voted to come back to Grand Rapids.”

An estimated 6,000 people attended the 2005 three day conference. Thanks, Dorothy you scored big with this one.
