National Association of Sports Commission - Annual Event Symposium

The National Association of Sports Commissions (NASC) is holding its annual sports event symposium in Omaha, Nebraska from April 21st to April 25th. The WMSC plans on attending and partnering with other Michigan communities (Detroit, Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, Lansing, and the Saginaw Valley Area) in a collaborative effort to promote Michigan to the sports event industry. All-Star Rugby Championships to be Hosted in Grand Rapids
Rugby Players

The Midwest Collegiate Men's Local Area Union (LAU) and Women's U23 LAU All-Star Championships are to be hosted by the Grand Rapids Gazelles Rugby Club on April 12-13, 2008 at MVP Fieldhouse. Eight men's and eight women's all-star teams assembled from Midwestern territories will compete in a weekend tournament and look to be named the "Best of the Midwest" as stated by Justin Hickey, President of the Grand Rapids Gazelles Rugby Club. U.S. Airborne "Born to Fly" Gymnastics Invitational to Have International Draw
Gymnast

The U.S. Airborne Gymnastics Invitational will be held March 1-2, 2008 in the Bernice Hansen Athletic Center at Cornerstone University. The Invitational will feature gymnastic clubs from all over the state of Michigan as well as Ohio, Illinois and even the country of Canada! (read more)

 

 

Great Lakes Lacrosse Classic to Feature University of Michigan vs. Michigan NASC LogoState University

The Great Lakes Lacrosse Classic, set for April 19, 2008 and hosted by the Forest Hills Lacrosse Club, is to feature the University of Michigan (UM) vs. Michigan State University (MSU) Men's Lacrosse teams as the peak of a day long lacrosse celebration. (read more)
